The green sprawling bouquet is perfect for the curvaceous bride. A drop-shaped bouquet is suitable for a tall bride, and a round bouquet works best for a petite bride.
THE HAIRDO
A HAIRDO is a piece of art that is truly one of a kind. Keep an open mind when you’re sitting in the salon chair on your wedding day, but make sure that you and your hairdresser are on the same page. Hairdos can be varied endlessly—ask yourself if you want it tight or loose, complex or simplistic. The most important things are for the hairdo to feel right for your personality and for you to be comfortable in it.
Make sure you book your appointment well ahead of time. It’s always nice to set up a consultation about a month before the wedding where you and the hairdresser talk about your expectations. That way you can make sure you’re both on the same page and can even try out some variations. Sometimes this will cost a little extra, while other times it’s included in the price of the bridal hair package. Ask for an estimate and make sure you know what is included in the price.
Not all hairdressers are trained in doing bridal hair, so ask for a recommendation from your regular hairdresser. Designing a bridal hairdo is more complicated than you might think, as you must ensure it can survive anything from wind to rain.
HAIR CARE FOR THE BIG DAY
If you want to color or highlight your hair for your wedding, you should do this at least one week before, so you can fix any problems that might occur. Hair that has been dyed the day before can even stain the dress if the air is humid or if it rains.
Condition your hair regularly the last month before your wedding.
Trim your hair about two weeks before the wedding.
If you plan to add highlights, don’t do this too close to the wedding day. Hair that has just been highlighted can easily look streaky, so instead do this a week before the wedding.
